Make sure to block the rear wheel and jack up the front of the car. Support the vehicle with jack stands so that the front wheels stay off the ground.
Take a 19mm socket and remove the front wheels. Make sure to support the front axle with a jack.
Use an 18mm socket and wrench to remove the sway bar’s bolts. Once removed, clean it up and set it aside.
With an 18mm socket, undo the lower shock bolts. The brake line must be removed after this as well. You will need to re-install this later.
You must first lower the jack holding the axle to make room for work. Once done, you should remove the coil springs.
Your kit should come with a new bump stop, spacer, and spring isolator. Install them carefully and avoid cutting corners.
After re-installing the factory spring, make sure the spring sits properly against the stop. Failure to do that may damage the spring mechanism.
Your kit may come with new specialized bolts along with the two relocation brackets. Consult the included manual to confirm.
If no such bolt were included, you should be fine using the stock ones.
Re-install the wheels and properly tighten the lug bolts. After this, slowly bring the vehicle down to the ground.
The sway bar must be connected while the Jeep sits on the ground. You can use the stock hardware to do this. Ensure you haven’t missed anything, and all the other hardware is installed correctly.
Now you have to follow the same procedure for the rear of the vehicles.
